Dan Johnson’s web site is a great place to find out what is happening in the light aircraft world. Developments, regulations, fuel types, and so forth.
Quarterly he puts out a list of the top 20 producers since the start of SLSA, these are not for the year but since the beginning.
Take a look at spot number 20, you will see Arion Aircraft’s SLSA LS-1 Listed. Not bad, top 20 out of 123 producers.
The list doesn’t include LS-1’s that have built for export either.
Just thought I would share.

Congratulations Nick (and all the Lightning team). It just goes to show what a great product you guys have. For such a relatively small company to achieve that level of production and sales proves what a super airplane the Lightning is. I predict even greater success in the future as you continue to climb the ladder into the top ten. I wonder how many of the top 19 also sell kit versions of their airplane? If you factored in kit sells I bet you are already in the top ten.

Total Airframe production is right around 140. that includes airframes for LSA or kit.
I just flew a new LS-1 on Monday for the first time and I believe that was number 98. I think we can hit 100 before the end of the year.
