What is found to be approx. useful life on door gas struts?
In original orientation?
Mod 66 position?
Anyone find a replacement they like (in states)?
Thx.

These should last for years. If they start to sag then just pop them
out and go and get them re pressurised at your local gas strut supplier.
I just had ZK-UBD's done last week and it cost me USD12 to get the pair
repressurised.
As for the landing hydraulics I haven't noticed any difference in
landing quality over several hundred landings (and a 'few' bounces
thrown in for practice)... except for the fact that the pilot has
improved his landing ability a bit over the past six years!

Europa has them in stock at a reasonable price. Support your
manufacturer...
