I called them. They are out of stock. He says it's a discontinued item.  I found them on another site. $2.20 each. I guess I'll find another way to attach it.

The #4 size is much less common and therefore apparently much more
expensive.

Found a company in the UK with 233 in stock, according to their web site. Need to order some other parts from them tomorrow so will check price.

Alternative p/n NAS395-1 This company http://store.falconaviation.com/product.php?productid=78897 seems to have them at a reasonable price. The -3 on the end means zinc metal finish.

The site I mentioned for Falcon Aviation is a US company so may be best you contact them rather than me.

The UK company that had some NAS395-1-3's in stock wanted $1.50 each, so I gave them a miss and ordered 50 A6187-4Z-1 at $0.30 each.

Should be getting them Monday, I'll let you know what they are like.

Thanks.  I haven't followed through with anything on those. Not sure what I'll do. Maybe wait for Bob Steward to send 6 to me.

Gary and Bob

The A6187-4Z-1's came in today, they look good. If you get stuck with Falcon I have 50 and will be getting more.

When I click on the Falcon link, the price comes up as $.16 each.
What do you mean, "If you get stuck with Falcon?"
16 cents is reasonable.

What I mean is not all that appears on the internet ends up being available when you actually try to order. As this is a US company that is why I suggested it best someone in the US enquires rather than the me on the UK. Only trying to help.

I was able to super glue #4 flat Tinnerman nuts to the inner lip of the canopy window molding. If the clips are missing on the next one, at least I have a solution.

Maybe too late, but Spencer a
Aircraft in Puyallup WA has the A6187-4Z-1 listed in their catalog. Doesn't necessarily mean they have them in stock. They just got bought by a new owner and the web page is kind of in limbo, but I'm sure they can take care of you on the phone.

During my search, I called about 7 suppliers. The -4Z-1 speed nut is out-of-production and the ones left are by special order, i.e., 1000 pieces.
Too much drama for this mechanic. Super Glue works.
