I thought before I make one, that I would see if anyone has an extra.  I need an exhaust nut tool/wrench.

WOW.
For those of you who have never used this tool, be advised that the stock tool wears very quickly and the weak point is the pin itself. Usually it will round off or wear out. The pin will also tend to become sort of "egg shaped" with continued usage and then puts un-even stress on the holes in the nut. Glad to hear someone has addressed this issue.

Thanks all! I think I'll get the nifty one from George.
(I'm not sure the channel lock method I saw my mechanic using yesterday is preferred.)

Oh, Doug, you make sound like I had malice of forethought. While I'll confess to being a bit ham-handed, malicious I'm not. In any event, Doug's latest iteration works to perfection. ...Blitz

As I said, the standard wrench fails easily, and pretty quickly at that. I have "destroyed" two as well. I never thought about taking one of the old wrenches and actually installing a new pin. That is a great idea.
Bottom line is that you need a really hard pin. Hardened or roller bearing. I am not a good enough mechanic to know which is better. In fact, I really am a backyard mechanic when it comes to airplanes. A little better on Chevy racing motors.
Nice to have more than one choice. Also nice that Doug is replacing the original models he sold. Good for you Doug.
On another subject, Cliff Coy did a wonderful job rebuilding my YAK-50 pneumatic check valves recently. Mine are rather unique and hard to come by. He fixed them, and very quickly too.

"(I'm not sure the channel lock method I saw my mechanic using yesterday is preferred.)"
Take a good look at what it takes to replace that locking ring. Also consider that the exhaust tubes on Yaks are made out of titanium.
Then beat your "mechanic" over the head with the channel locks. No... really!
