I wonder how all the Yak 52's in Europe are going to get there since, as 

I understand it, the Yak 52's are presently grounded?  Is that not correct?

1. There will be Yak-52 available for rent during the World Championship.

As you can read in Bulletin 1 : (11.)

"Organizer provides competitors with aircraft Yak-52 on the site of the Championship

Organizers provide an airplane for first 3 competitors of each team for free".

So American Yak-52 pilots are welcome in Russia ! No excuses.



2. Most European countries have grounded "russian registered" Yak-52 with "russian C. of A." 

because as Richard (Goode) explained :

"The simple fact is FLA were NEVER approved to issue Certificates of Airworthiness and Registrations for anything but amateur built aircraft,

3. I think "russian registrations" with "russian Airworthiness  Certificates" issued by FLA are still accepted in France ... at the moment ... 

although they have been declared illegal in ALL other European countries ... !!

4. Yak-52 registered and maintained under the supervision of the UK Civil Aviation Authority and Lithuanian CAA are allowed to fly in Europe.

Other National European CAAs are now working to establish requirements

to have Yak-52 registered and issued with legal Airworthiness Certificate.

No, not correct.



The 52 is not certificated and so does not automaticly get airworthiness

documents from ANY country, UNLESS that country gives specific permission

for it.



The problem is that there is NO uniformity between the countries in Europe

as to what non-certificated planes can fly.



So what has been grounded in MOST [but not all] countries are 50s and 52s

flying on Russian "FLA" registrations.



But they are flying fine in  a number of countries.

I guess this is directed at Dennis, Richard. 



Because I did exactly say what you are writing, i.e. :

Yaks (and other aircraft) flying with "FLA registrations ( RA-xxxxK )" and "Airworthiness Certificates" 

issued by FLA have been grounded in ALL European Countries (as far as I understand) 

except ... at the moment (?) ... FRANCE ...
