I put O2 in my l-29 for the first time today to test the system and when =
I turn on the o2 shutoff valve in each cockpit I get a free flow of =
oxygen. I move the lever on the reg to the only other position it will =
allow and the flow increases. The little blinker in the gauge is always =
open when I have the system on. I thought the system worked kind of like =
a scuba regulator and it flowed when you draw air through it. Are my =
diaphragms just shot? anyone ever rebuild these units? Thanks in advance =
as always for any help.

I put in a US 02 system in my L-29. It works great and it's pressure demand,
auto duluting type ( you can run pure 02 if you wish as well) system works
awesome...

Your regs are shot.
If you have the US military Diluter demand types, they;ll cost about 2
grand to overhaul.

A-14 model (2 of them) diluter type (F-86 sabre) yellow taged. they are for
sale for $50 ea.
