I installed a toggle switch to turn the controller off and on manually. The original installation instructions I got said it was optional The guy at Electroair was adamant about it being installed and to use it for the mag check. I asked about the P-Lead wire that came with the unit. He told me to remove it from the wiring harness. I guess their instructions need to be updated.
After the install, I did a run-up. The AG can now be started on both mags. Starts really fast. Idles a bit high. Reseting the timing will take some getting used to; MAP affects it.
Going from both mags to right only (ignition switch to right mag) shows almost no rpm loss. Left mag only (turn off the Electroair.) and there is a little more than 100 RPM drop. Can't wait to fly it.

You’re gonna love flying it – it’s really smooooooooth. And when you pull up to the pump, it gets even better. I’ll post my data from the flight back north in the next couple of days as soon as I get caught up on work.

Dean,
Still a few kinks to work out with the wiring. I would recommend installing the switch on the 2 amp line. Seems to work out well.
For a long term solution I'd use two toggles like on a Citabria. Direct control over each mag without thinking too hard about it. I liked the dual toggles on my Citabria. I would eliminate the key altogether and install a keyed kill switch that interrupts the Master.
