Keith,

I'd like to copy your Pago-Pago story that we have on the Aerocommander.com site (http://204.8.124.244/tales.asp?m=08&lid=01&mtitle=Tales) onto the Aero Commander facebook page (www.facebook.com/commanderflight), but I need your permission to do so.
If you could respond in the affirmative, I'd appreciate it and I'll copy it over with credits.

Thanks,

Nico

I'm honored that you'd like to post my story about ferrying the AC680FL to Pago Pago.

Russell Legg is putting it on the new TCFG web site.

I don't want to get TwitterMySpaceFaceBook and the new TCFG web site to dilute Commander info or compete.

Russell, what's your take on this situation?

Hi Keith,

This is fine with TCFG - the new website will definitely include your story and I don't see that the site we are developing is in competition with Nicu's Facebook site.
The site is being developed by Jim and Sue Metzger in conjunction with Chris Wall and TCFG member Gabriel Fernandez (True North) with the assistance of Barry Collman, Bruce Byerly and others. Gabe is donating the site construction effort back to the TCFG.

Nicu do you see it that way?
Cheers and regards
Russell

All right, then. If everyone is in agreement, make it so.

I notice a renewed and very international effort to archive and disseminate Commander information.

That's impressive.

Hi Russell,
Yes, social media augments websites, it does not dilute them. Looking forward to the new TCFG website.

Thanks, Keith, your story will go up.

If anyone has Commander stories, please let's get them going. You don't have to send them to me (unless you want me to do some editing), just visit the Facebook site (www.facebook.com/commanderflight), "Like" the site if you haven't done so already, and copy and paste your story.

Keith is right, it does get international participation, which can only be good.
