Hi Kyle,
The main gear (Tri-gear) wheel nut looks nothing like that on my Europa, it's a castle nut.

Can any tell me what the main gear axle nut (WHLAN1) looks like? I have a photo and was wondering if this is it.
Thanks,
Kyle

I figured it looked more like a castle nut. Thanks guys.
Have any of you tri-gear builders found a supplement to the main gear axle nut (Europa part number WHLAN1)? I got a quote on a price that seems high, maybe a typo, and was wondering if there was something state side that fit.
For that matter, is there any any good tips on substituted hardware for the landing gear? The exchange rate and shipping puts a big dent in aircraft funds.
Thanks,
Kyle
