Saw the Yak-52 and ad in my new Sport Aviation and went to the website of the V12 diesel being tested in the -52 airframe. Heard about it before but no pics. Aside from looking like a T-34, I'm wondering what they did to the airframe to suck up that gear.

Like removing warts. Does *anyone* know what they did to the airframe and what kind of test results they got?

We designed and built a hydraulic system for the gear. It uses a hydraulic power pack like many U.S. Aircraft. We also designed and built an electric actuator for the flaps. We also did a hydraulic brake package. Most of it was installed by Termikas at the airframe overhaul.
They have a website with pictures.
