I'm trying to install my tail springs (3) on my SS7. The width of the springs is greater than the distance between the bolts/spacers to get the bolts in the spring plate to line up with the holes in the fuse.

Solutions I see;
- machine down spacers (probably the best solution)
- enlarge holes in fuse and spring plate
- grind down width of spring (and of course polish out).

Just wondering if others had this issue and how they resolved.

Thanks
-Mike Kraus
SS7, just getting started!

First thing I'd do is call the factory.

Mike,
I agree with Stan, call John at Kitfox and see what he suggests, whatever
you end up doing in the end you will want to make sure the spring is not
able to slide side to side after bolted or you may have some difficulty with
ground handling.

I emailed John, he recommended turning the bushings down.
