Has anyone put an air vent in the cowl of a 701 for cooling at their feet? I was thinking of just forward of the door down low. What kind of vent?

I was just flying yesterday with the doors on in 90F weather.
The bubble doors are hard to seal to wind will just come in. You won't need vents for your feet.

Sam, I installed Van's RV-10 back seat vents on either side of my boot cowl fairly close to where my knees are. Generally speaking, they were unneccessary. The only time I've used them they didn't help much because it was so hot that no amount of airflow was going to cool me off. The snap vents on the bubble doors move lots of air into the cockpit while flying so additional venting is not reallly needed.
