Pete,

 My friend Dave DeSimone owns a Seneca V and a Yak 52.  Dave has been  looking into having his engines overhauled as well.  I recommended he  contact Mena Aircraft Engines in Mena, Arkansas.  Dave has done so and  finds that Mena's quality and pricing is superior to many other overhaul  shops.

  

 Mena has built many custom and high performance aircraft engines and I  personally have met Robert Smith, Jr., the president of the company.  A  real quality guy.  His telephone number is 479-394-7688.  Their web  site is rbsmith(at)cswnet.com (irbsmith(at)cswnet.com).

  

 If you call him, tell him Dennis Savarese from Wetumpka, AL with the Yak 52  recommended his shop.
