My quick and simple jury strut fairings: I bought balsa elevator strips at
RC hobby store (about one inch chord, wedge shaped), made concave in thick
edge with #50 sandpaper wrapped around a dowell. Glued balsa to the struts
with Gorilla glue, then wrapped the whole thing with aluminum tape, scuffed
the aluminum and spray painted it. Looked good and took an hour or so. Try

After you added those fairings, did you notice any gain in air speed?
