582 cutting out at WOT

My 582 gray runs normal up to about 5700 rpms. When I try to go to full throttle, it starts cutting out.
I've replaced all fuel lines and filters and rebuilt the fuel pump. The problem occurs with the elec. pump on too.
The carb floats seem to working properly and needles look good.
Any ideas on what to check next?
This started happening after somewhat of a hard pull-up to 70 degs. or so, then leveling off.
The motor is in pusher config. in a Kolb Mark III.

I'm stumped. SOS

The plugs looked good but I replaced them anyway. Compression is also good in both cylinders.

You sold your Kolb?!

Yes, it was a sad day, but I didn't have the money or time right now to put into her. She got a new owner who was happy to start sprucing her up. My next Kolb will probably be a Mark III.

A couple other things to check on your engine is the choke piston (one time I had a deteriorated seal that was giving me problems) and you could also check the needle clip in your carb and the o-ring.

ktnc420, Did you ever find your problem? I found my repair book which takes you through several things to check. I will type them up here if you still need help.

The problem went away after cleaning the carbs. I did see some small orange colored goo balls in the bowls after removing the floats. That must have been it.
