I own the hanger I keep my Yak in. I also rent space for 2 other people to keep their planes there. Does anyone have a lease template that could be used to limit my liability should something happen to the hanger and their planes are damaged or destroyed?

Just type up an agreement wherein your renter agrees to hold you harmless from any suit ocurringas a result of damage to his aircraft in connection with his use or occupancy of your hangar (desribe the location and condition of your building). state in the agreement that the renter is indemnifying you from all claims and damages of any nature whatsoever. As a little more "boiler plate" have him have his signature notarized. If you want to go further have him agree to insure you from damages ocurring to your aircraft and real property as a result of his use and occupancy of the subject property. Now ' what about damage that he causes to another aircraft belonging to a third party owner who is also using your hangar with your permission; or perhaps he sets the hangar on fire and destroys everyone's aircraft . Gets a little sticky, doesn't it? Don't try to do this on the cheap; Hire a lawyer and cover all the bases I've mentioned above; you'll save yourself a lifetime of worry and regret. Good luck.
