Here's a quick plug for support to keep this Matronics list up and running while remaining ad and spam free. In the many years Casey ran the list, there were discussions during almost every fly-in about how to help him pay for the service. It seems he almost never took anything for providing the service and I know it had to cost at least $250/year even back then. I remember people were happy to kick in a five, ten or twenty. We have now migrated to the Matronics service (in addition to the Yahoo group) and have seen outstanding service. No doubt you've all seen the pleas for financial assistance from Matt Dralle during the month of November. I have to tip my hat to his way of handling this, limiting fund raising to just one month each year and then, not being too obtrusive about it. He has made it extremely quick and easy to kick in some coin via credit card or PayPal.
Bottom line, if you don't contribute, will the service continue? Most likely, but if it didn't, would you feel any sense of loss or remorse?
I'm jumping off my soapbox now and hoping everyone keeps the sunny side up.
