Steve,

The problem with the actuators "running out of pull" just before locking 

into the uplock parrot hook is common to all Yak 52's.  That is why I 

recommend accomplishing a few landing gear retractions/extensions AT VARIOUS 

AIR PRESSURES after making any adjustments to the actuator rod length.  One 

will find that at lower air pressure, say around 20 ATM's, the gear may not 

indicate "up and locked" especially if the actuator is "running out of pull" 

because of the adjustment.



I am also copying the Yak list on this one since it affects all Yak 52's.
