Fuel Vent Question

Is it just Hot over here in Australia and this does not happen in Colder European Countries??
 
Now after a few runs yesterday I have a question in relation to the Fuel vent line.
From reading the book it appears the 3 tanks vent through the one line, Correct.?? But the 5lt collection tank in the fuse has one way flow for the obious reasons, Now
what I find if sitting in the sun after 40lts have been spent from the tank and that 40lts is always from the Left tank 1st while in flight .
But Parked in the sun it loses say a cup full of fuel out of the Vent Line every now and then.
Appears to continually happen, until you remove a fuel cap to vent. Cap almost blows off. Do others find this in the venting and indication of fuel use from either wing??
Is it normal for you to always see the left tank drop by say 35lt before the R/H starts to drop.
Then they appear to become close to equal flow.

Depending on your serial number
This happens also in Europe on some Yaks
Not only under the sun but also in the hangar you must let the fuel
cap open or it can happen that you los half a tank of fuel.
And this seam not to be of any concern from our friends from russia or Lituania
So keep your tank caps open when you park your plane.

Have seen the same thing. If the A/C is flow with a left YAW the same can be seen because of being out of trim. For me, adding MMO helps with the flapper valve opening easier on the right tank.doc

The root of the problem is the poorly designed vent system in the
pre-1989 52's. I have a solution if anyone is interested. Email me off
list. That way I won't bore everyone else to death posting a lengthy
description of how to fix the problem.

solution could interest us.
By the way I need bulbs for my 18T; The bulb on the rotating. Would
you have these???
