Where does it go? Found on the floor of the front cockpit during preflight. Pulled all the side panels (front and back), pulled the seats, fod checked the tail and under the aircraft (through the sump tank and snot valve access panels. Couldn't find it's mate (I assume it has one) or any screws. Also couldn't identify any places where it looked like one was missing.

Joe,
That is 1/2 of a multiple tubing lines clamp. There are two halves. You've got half of it. Very likely it is from behind one of the side panels. You'll need to look carefully behind the side panels for the back half AND the small bolts that hold the two halves together. The back half will be somewhat hidden behind the metal tubing lines.

It one half of a clam clamp that anchors your throttle, prop control, louvers, and possibly your fuel cutoff cable copper tube guides. It bolts to the bulkhead via a right angle tab on the side of the bulkhead. Since you have one half of it, the other half is still floating around or it was left over from your refurbishment. Look for a blank tan on the bulkhead next to and above your left foot or on the same side of the rear cockpit. They prevent the copper cable guides from flexing and sliding for and aft when the levers are moved. At least that is what they are used for in the YAKs. Look along the bulkheads behind your cable guides as they travel along your fuselage headed toward the firewall.

It is one half of a pipeline clamp for a 5 pipeline run. Probably from the
left side of the cockpit in the area of the front spar. Might be easier to
see from the rear cockpit.

Want to remember that not only is there another half to this clamp, there were two screws with nuts and lock washer also.
