I'm looking to replace all my rubber hoses this spring and I'm looking
for a recommendation from those who have recently done this.

The straight lengths of hose are easy I can get the sizes I need from
Lockwood or similar but I'm not sure of the Europa specific ones, the
two coolant hoses that come up from the radiator and the oil tubing
which has the 90 deg bend it that runs from the oil pump to the can.

I assume you can get them from Europa of course but if they are from
some other aircraft or vehicle then I can probably source them here in
the States.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Hi Martin,

I have just gone through this exercise.

Re the Europa specific coolant hoses, I recommend that you get these from Bud Yerly at http://www.customflightcreations.com/ I bought the regular 17mm water hose from Lockwood at an outrageous price per meter. 17 mm is not a stock size in the US. Also you will need the special formed hose (922 192) at cyl. # 3 top. Regular straight hose will kink at this location.

Re the 90 deg bend to the oil pump from the cooler, Lockwood sell a 90 deg metal adapter to permit you to use straight hose. I could not find the part no. for this fitting in their catalog but if you call them, they will know what you need. I used Aeroquip FC 332 0.50 inch hose for the oil lines.

Cheers, John
