Hokay, sports fans, Big Lar's been a busy boy.  I finally finished the web pages for this year's MV trip.  I didn't spend as much time as I would have liked with the group this year, but thoroughly enjoyed it all.

My cousin and I spent 5 really intense days going from Phoenix, up to MV, and back to Phoenix, so this year, I had to split the trip between 5 pages.  Page 4 on the ATV ride is kind of long.  I hope you enjoy them.  I did enjoy building them, and really enjoyed the trip that made them possible.  I had trouble publishing the link to the Traveling page, so take a look at:

Thank you, your web pages are the greatest!
And what kind of camera are you using?
(I have asked before, but now you've got me inspired enough to actually
spend money!)

Thanks very much Richard. Unfortunately, my camera, a Nikon Coolpix 8800
has been discontinued, and it doesn't look like Nikon is going to bring out
a successor. Maybe a used camera ?? When my cousin's daughter asked about
a camera, I did a lot of research and recommended a Fuji S9000. Boy, is Bob
Dalton gonna get some mileage outa that one. Smile

The nice thing about a digital camera is that the pictures are free, once
you've bought the camera, so get plenty of memory and take LOTS of pics. On
the MV trip, I took 729 pics in 5 days using a 1gb card and downloading at
night. Sorting out which ones to use - especially on the ATV page - was
really tough. Seems like 1 pic in a series will have that extra "something"
that sets it apart, and if you take enuf, some are bound to come out well.
For example, that sunrise on the ATV page is the last shot of a series of 12
that I took over about 10 minutes, then I cropped it strongly for the
published version. Thanks again............. Lar.

Thanks, Jim. I used ArcSoft Panorama Maker 3, that came bundled with
something. Scanner, printer, or camera......I'm not sure.

Thank you, CB. It's a great process......I enjoy the trips, obviously, and
the challenge of framing and taking each shot. I believe a photographer
sees more, and in a different way while "working." I enjoy going thru the
pics each day, enjoy selecting and editing them, enjoy the web page building
process, which takes me back thru the trip in great detail, remembering each
portion of the day, and, finally, I REally enjoy comments like yours from
people who have shared and enjoyed my work. Lar.
