I had to abort three attempted takeoff today. After two attempted takeoffs where the power bleed to idol (at) 20% of runway and I aborted. I pulled the engine cover check it over and let it cool down. I called some folks, and then I tried two half take offs with preplanned abort point. No problem with first two, so on the third run down the runway I planned to take off. Again this time rough engine and major power loss so I had to shut down and stick to the runway. High density alt., 101Âș F the plane is tied down for the night and I'm going back out in the AM to run up again. Concerned here, not sure what to do.Paul

Well, you just tested the battery and the fuel pumps.
Did you shut off the Master before you went home?
If so ALL IS WELL!
No damage done - No Blood, No foul.

Check for soot on the bottom of one of the carb float bowl!

Question: Where is the sensor located in relation to the closest fitting in the direction of fuel flow?
Why do I ask? Fluid Dynamics 101 - The tap in the feed line must be 7 x the ID BACK from the nearest fitting.
I'm not going to get into the complete answer but the simple answer is wave progression with peaks and troughs. If you are too close or at a trough there will be fluctuations and low pressure readings.
