The two photos attached are of my left and right mags and the timing number stamped on them. I believe 23 to be the correct number although the other number on each mag looks prominent but in an area that looks like it may have been ground down.
Comments?

I would suspect that 23 degs. is the correct number. That could change at
overhaul of the mag. depending on the spring tension, etc. of the new
auto-advance parts installed. The original 25 deg. markings should have
been obliterated to avoid confusion.
Re: The gear down restrictors; These should be at the bulkhead end of the
NORMAL gear down hose. If you have original Chinese manufactured hose the
restrictor end has a longer nut (to accommodate the restrictor!). I think
those are 0.5 mm (0.020") restrictors. However, I just got home from an
enjoyable (and well lubricated) flying club barbecue and my manuals are in
the hangar so all of the above is suspect to say the least.

Restrictors:See CJ parts book volume #1 pages 280 thru 286, check down the Nomenclature column for items called "dampers" (items 17,33,40,). Now refer back to page 279, find the item numbers 17, 33, and 40 in the pneumatic dwg to discover the correct location for installation. Note that the "dampers" (AKA restrictors) have different part numbers, this is because they have differing sized holes in them.
I carry the blank restrictors in stock should you find you need them.
