The two pilots were squadron mates of mine. This was the repatriation of their uncle's remains after he had been killed during the Chinese invasion of So. Korea. LTC Mike "Homie" McGinn and Major Pat "Demon" McGinn are the two that you see shaking the hands of the handlers at he end of the ceremony.
It was impressive indeed. 
The fly by for his burial was performed by RPA members in the ATL area. One being Stu "Bulldog" Mosby Col USAF Ret.

Thanks very much for sharing this.

This happens at every Delta station and I'm sure on every other US airline as well. I've had the honor to bring home two of America's finest and they were the two most memorable flights I've had at Delta in 25 years.

What is even more impressive is the solemn respectfulness of the pax when we inform them that they have the honor to accompany home one of our fallen. No one moves until the body is off the airplane. There are still proud Americans out there.
