I find three kinds of Jeffco.

Plain Jeffco,,, Jefffco A and Jeffco B

Which one have people been using ? ? ? ?

The same is true for PR 1750, There is plain,,, A and B.

And ,,, does it reallly cost $106 a pint ? ? ? ?

How much would it take to do the whole tank ?? ? ?

Just the close-outs ? ? ?? ?

I have 1 quart kit of PR-1750 (4 hour pot life) with expiration 3/2014 available for $150.00. I was required to place a minimum order for 2 quarts though I only needed 1 quart for recoating a header tank on my XP. Use of Jeffco was not an option as total access to clean out prior polysulfide coating not possible without major distruction of tank.

Hi Bernie,

The sealant that was supplied with my kit, all those years ago, was Jeffco 9700, the glossy grey stuff.

It is applied fairly thick with a small roller, and a second coat is applied when the first coat is still a little tacky. Be careful, it exotherms nicely if you mix too large a quantity. A pint is probably not quite enough enough to apply 2 coats. I'm sure it would do one coat though.

Prices seem to vary, but I found this one which seems to be way cheaper - - if they are still in business.

I will ship the PR 1750 today. What is your preferred method of shipment (Express, Priority mail or UPS)? After you advise me of method of shipping, I will package and ship with a follow-up email to your email address with material and shipping total.

Dave,

Ship what ever is most convenient for you.

The P.O. Box will work for only the US Postal Service.

If UPS or Fedex is easier use :

44908 Hickory Landing Way
Hollywood, MD 20636
