The Europa Club  Membership Subscriptions will be due at the end of March 

and this year we have made some important changes to the way you can make 

these payments. Please find attached the full story which will also appear 

in the next Europa Flyer due out later this month. The new systems are 

highlighted here:



For all UK Members, or those with a UK Bank account - we ask you to send the 

£25 to the Club by way of standing order direct from your Bank account. Once 

set up you will never need reminding of the payment (due the 1st April 

annually) and there are no Bank charges involved on either side so we both 

get maximum value for your subscriptions.



Please ask the Membership Secretary for a Standing Order form, even if you 

use online banking. It is essential that you quote all the correct details 

and references, and the pre-printed form contains all the information 

needed, customised for your own subscription.



For all other members we have now set up a Paypal facility and you will see 

this when you enter the renewal page on the website (after entering your 

personal details). This will allow you to pay from your PayPal account, or, 

if you don't have one, with a credit or debit card through the PayPal system 

. Whilst there are still bank charges they are much reduced.



CHANGES IN ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP



In addition we will now allow new members to join any time in the year on a 

full membership (rather than with half year subscriptions as well as annual 

payments) -join 2nd March, get almost 13 months membership.



So now there is no excuse for not joining and renewing your subs in the 

years ahead.



Please let us have any feedback on the changes as outlined.

A good idea, BUT the form is personalised with the particular information required for that person so it will not work for others on the forum

I've just received my copy of Eropa Flyer and was expecting to find the details to set up a standing order for continued club membership included.



As they it's not included could somebody PM me the club bank details or advise if they are on the club web site so I can set this up.

Hi Dave, (or anyone else wishing to join/renew)



The easiest method of setting up your Standing Order is to use on-line  

banking.

Each banks website is slightly different but in essence you log in to  

your account then navigate to the section for setting up "Standing  

Orders and Direct Debits"

Choose "Standing Orders" and fill in the details as requested.

The beneficiary is "The Europa Club"

Beneficiary Sort code is : 60-05-16

Beneficiary Account Number is: 18590063

For Reference use your EC Membership Number (you can find this on you  

Europa Flyer address label if you have forgotten)

Payment date is 1st April

Amount: £25

Request that payment be made annually until further notice.



Since we have passed 1st April this year you could make a one-off fund  

transfer using the above account details and reference to cover this  

years membership.



It's really that simple - I set my own Standing Order up the same way  

- so I know it works.

can sort you out.

I am new to the Europa world and would like to join the Europa club but  I'm unable to access the theeuropaclub.org web site. I've tried from a number of computers over a period of time but just get the message "page unavailable"

Has the site moved?

Alan - I'm sorry to hear you have not been able to reach the Europa Club website. This is very puzzling - I clicked on the link in your e-mail message (to make sure there were no typos) and it came right up for me.



I am one of the Europa Club Committee members tasked with website maintenance and if you'd care to contact me direct at <rowlandcarson(at)gmail.com> with details of what hardware, operating system and web browser you are using, I will try to help solve the problem of your inability to see the Europa Club website.

Thanks guys, still can't access it normally but I can if I connect through a VPN. I've asked our work IT guru for advice but he is stumped, he can't access it either so it isn't just me being stupid. The site manager is aware and is looking in to it.
