I also wondered about the drop in postings. Went to Osh and didn’t see that many Kitfoxes. I am completing my Mod 4 1200 Speedster now. The engine is a Viking and I plan on adding smoke and trying my hand at skywriting. I also am adding the convertible wing tips so the additional 3 feet of wing can be added when needed. I sold my Mod 2, 2 years ago to make room for the Lancair 360, now flying. When I finish the Mod 4, I will get to work on the next build, a Lancair Super ES. It will be a treat to fly the speedster with a real 4 cycle engine and 110 horses by Honda. The 582 flew fine, until it stopped. Fortunately I was over a runway. The idea of a cross country flight behind a 582 just never felt good. We have a big feral hog problem near Dallas, so the Speedster will be a good gun platform with the doors off. Pork chops, anyone?

Ed,
Wow, you are busy. I put in almost two years helping friend with a Lancair IV, and there is an ES around the corner that we looked at often during that project. Lots of work, but a real performer.
