A new service bulletin came out 01-31-2014 for cracks in the HS forward spar:

Thank you Gary for keeping us on the RV-list informed. I rarely look at the VAF.

Agreed - I heard about it here first as well.  Thanks Gary!
 
I inspected mine last night.  No cracks… at least so far!  So I made the log book entry, and we’ll check again at the annual in July (I don’t like doing inspections at 18F !).
