My next door hanger neighbor has just sold his Jabiru and is looking to buy a trigear Europa - anyone know of any unadvertised lowish hours models for sale at a reasonable price?
UK only, and trigear only (I've tried to convince him that mono is the way to go and that he can convert it if it's not for him).

What do you call a reasonable price.
I understand these things cost around £87,000 to build in kit parts and engine and prop and nav aids.
So what is a reasonable price, ?????
I paid £36k for mine and have spent another 2k on it.
so for me its £38k
is that reasonable.

I would hope that in defining reasonable, other factors come into play such as:
- reasonable performance numbers
- reasonable in-flight and on-ground handling
- reasonable fit and finish,
- reasonable level of equipment and avionics,
- reasonable level of completion,
i.e., reasonable and not exceptional
in short, I would hope that someone looking for a Europa at a reasonable price would factor into his/her thinking the wide range of outcomes in this realm of amateur-built aircraft and recognize that many have exceptional qualities and warrant exceptional asking prices
