Hi folks,
As usual it was a special treat to see, hear & live a few days with the usual suspects of the Commander world. Even though it had been a few years since I had made it to the meeting, it was just like catching up with family: I was immediately at ease and received with open arms.
Thanks for every one for coming and specially for those who brought their Commander and again a great thanks for the speakers and organizers, specially to Jimbob and Sue: many thanks!
Happy to join the group and very sad being on the ramp as I waved the last plane good bye.
For those who where there, I came across an Aero Commander (Barry this is specially for you & thanks for bringing operation StarWatch) by "accident" (don't like the use of that word) and we sadly can say that another Commander ended its life last year as a cargo plane...

I checked the registration and indeed it is a 1959 straight 500 sn819 registered as N345MP with 'fake' wing tips and ironically piloted by a Canadian Menonite Pilot (the plot thickens or continues?)
Unfortunately the Venezuelan government has the tendency to make a show and burn these airplanes...
