Ok I almost hate to do this to you living in colder climates, but .......
the sunny Skies in Arizona made me go fly.

Sure looks like New Mexico. Where in Arizona are you? I agree, do more.
Thanks,
Brad

Brad,
This is just a few miles North of Phoenix, AZ.
The video is from Pleasant Valley Airport.

Thanks for sharing the video. Looks like good old New Mexico to me as well. Looks like a great place to fly. What do you think your takeoff distance was?

Brad,
Hmmm..... a very rough guess is maybe 500 feet.
I was trying to be smooth and not scare my wife so I put in throttle real easy and then let it run a little beyond normal Lift off speed.
Solo it seems to get up in less than 300 feet with out trying too hard.
Dual there was 370 pounds of people and 15 Gallons of gas.
I am certainly not an expert and I am hardly qualified to talk about the capabilities of this aircraft. I really am learning (very slowly) what this airplane can do.
Hope this is useful.
Leland
