|
|
Dennis, or any other,
Recently I discovered the presence of oil residue in the right mag of my M-14P. More than a light trace, less than heavy fluid in quantity. I have removed the mag from the engine and want to replace the seal inside at the bottom of the mag. I need, and would appreciate , a parts blowup or any type of diagram showing disassembly procedure. Screws at bottom of mag are shallow slot head screws which seem to have been put in place by an 800 lb gorilla and I don't want to tear anything up trying to remove them. Can anyone fax me a diagram and procedural
summary applicable to this task? I will furnish fax number upon request Thanks All
Cliff

[quote] Tim,
I agree with Gary. You may have an intake leak. Check all your intake tube gland nuts and intake collars. If you have an intake drain kit, be sure all the fittings are tight as well.
