I FINALLY "finished" sanding the affected area. Sanding fiberglass inside an airplane in 90+ degree weather is no fun. I have reamed out the brackets to use AN7 instead of AN6 bolts and have cut the 3/16" thick steel plates that will go on top of the layup. My landing gear is stripped of all paint and is ready for a new paint job. I also hope to receive the rubber padding soon.
Hopefully I can get somebody to check the sanded area, do the actual repairs/layups so I can get her back in the air.
Too be continued...
