I just completed a fuel tank of fiberglass and vinylester resin. I plan to top coat it with latex paint but have heard that there should be a two part primer used. I'm asking the list to share their experience with me.
Thanks.

I made the cowl for my Micro Mong using polyester resin but I think vinylester would be similar. I just primed with Glidden Gripper latex primer and sprayed Sherwin Williams All Purpose High Gloss latex color. It came out nice. Why not try a sample and see how well the particular brand of latex paint you intend to use holds up to a spill?
