Its fire season here and things are heading towards an interesting season. Of course dry lightning, that seems to occur every evening is the big culprit. Last night around 10:30 PM I could see a pretty large fire on the horizon. It seemed to go out after a while. I decided this morning that I would take the Firestar to check it out. It was heavily overcast and the air was quite heavy and close. Temps at 0630 was 78 degrees.

It was smooth as silk, and the Firestar performed just as Homer intended. My flight was one hour and 18 minutes, and using the HACman system to lean my fuel, I only burned 2 gallons of fuel.
