There are a number of videos of test flying my Pulsar III all the way through the test phase. Just search test flight pulsar III. Cheers, Larry

A lot of Pulsar pilots come in too fast mainly because it is a slippery plane. As a past instructor I believe you should use full flap/brake on finals and stall plus a third over the fence, round out and hold it off until she stalls in, Pulsars stall with nose higher than norm.
Go up to say 3000 ft and check the stall angle and stall speed on YOUR aircraft.

My plane is a Pulsar 2 with several modifications Skystar included in the
Pulsar 3, the most notable being the wing root placement of the radiators
and the beefed up nose gear. I also have the 912S and originally used the
in-flight Ivo 3 blade medium prop for the first 450 hours though I now have
the Airmaster 3 blade constant speed prop.

Takeoffs with the Ivo started with the prop at the fine limit but required
feeding in some pitch around lift off to avoid over revving the engine. I
have elevator pitch set so the plane mostly flies off when it wants to which
is around 65 - 70 mph.

I almost always use full flaps for landing, bringing them in after the plane
is below 100 mph. My plane includes the flap modification with a second rib
at the actuator to stiffen the flap. With the Ivo, I used nearly full fine
during landing which acted as a great speed brake and allowed quick response
if a go around was needed. Even though the Pulsar is a very slippery plane
and I heard many stories of how difficult it was to slow down, with the
in-flight adjustable pitch prop and full flaps, I never had any problem
getting it slowed for landing. My goal is to turn final around 80 mph with
70 over the numbers. For my plane, I fly it down to within a few feet of the
ground and then pull power all the way and keep raising the nose until she
settles in. Remember that the Pulsar can really drop if you get behind the
power curve so throttle is your friend when landing. I often land long to
avoid a lengthy taxi and find it really easy to fly the plane a foot or two
above the ground with barely any throttle.
