How hard would it be for you to bypass the audio panel ? Could you make a
jumper up so that you hard wired the headphones & mic directly to your radio
for testing purpose ?

That's a good idea. I asked my A&P if he could do that but he said it would be a lot of work. I will see if I can devise a way. Seems like it would be a good test.
