Thinking about pricing again...I have the cheapest new build Firefly ,
advertised on Barnstormers...assuming the 8k one has sold...at the least
it is out of the way in California!! Smile Was in Ohio... Looking at the
pics...that one was a heck of a deal...

Mine is brand new...and the ...hold on....ring a bell...toot a
horn...shout it loud!!! 10.5k.....one third of the price of a factory
build...and about 3/8ths the price of a Factory Kit...

Herb

almost forgot another point ....another reason for not quoting a
price... everyone is selling the same stuff....likely the same stuff in
aircraft parts certaily.....so price is the main deciding factor...

Both GREAT deals. But for no more than I used mine last year I would let my Firefly go for $5K and throw in a trailer to get it home. For a few more bucks I would throw in a 503 with a warp drive prop. But it is a long way from brand new...

Mercy!! The bottom is falling out of the Ultra Lite business!!

When the Ohio Firefly did no sell at 8k...I became worried...nearly
three hundred hours on the engine however..

If your bird can sit where it is til spring...send some details
and pics... also of the 503 and prop... Then again...if you have it in
the spring...nothing wrong with cranking the price up a bit...Smile

I buy and fix up boats and motors and nothing sold last spring!!!
Barn is full!! Worried Herb

They are on Craigs list Nashville... But...that 5k bird in Minnesota
sounds fantastically good!!! New fabric and paint can be done for less
than 1k....and recall; the aluminum rivets for holding the fabric to the
ribs are about 16 bucks for 500 on Ebay...last spring anyway.... Herb

ps anyone needing pics of the tries , tubes and rims...I have them ...
1.5 meg photos but did not want to attach them and gain the ire of Bro.
Pike!! Smile and too lazy to reduce them...!

Email prvately so we do not grab too much band width...

I am not really trying to sell it, it just isn't getting much use. I dumped a ton of money into it in the last year and a half. EIS, Warp Drive prop (two blade), Black max brakes and wheels and so on. I had neck surgery and did not want to pull the rope so I installed an electric starter. Flys great, but sits an hour away and I don't get out there enough. Here is a good example.
