would like to talk with a Lightning builder or pilot regarding the setup that they are using with the Jabiru 3300  engine.



Prop pitch  Degree????

IAS            Kts ?????

Empty WT  Pounds???

Normal Cruise RPM  ????

Actual useful  load.  ????

Jetting for Carb

Needle Jet

Main Jet

Prop: Sesinich WC 62 FK 56

Sesinich was very helpful on recommending the right prop and pitch for my plane and engine combo.



Airspeed= 140 mph at 4500’ with no wheel pants or fairings

RPM= 2750

Gross wt = 1250#

empty wt = 733#

useful load = 517#

  Here are the numbers for my Lightning EAB with the Jab 3300.

   

  Prop is Sensinich WC62FK58

   

  Normal Cruise RPM:  2850

  Normal Cruise speed:  147 mph  (TAS)

  Empty wt:  893 Lbs

  Actual useful Load:  637 lbs  (Max wt is 1530)

  Needle Jet:  282

  Main Jet: 250
