Hi, 



Does anyone have a Europa wiring schedule based on the manual electrical layout but replicated in package like ExpressSCH or DesignSpark Electrical (or any other wiring schedule type package)?  I'm ready to pay . . .



I realise every a/c has a bespoke electric and instrumentation configuration, but access to such a layout would be an excellent starting point and save me considerable time in generating a new one that will be adapted for my a/c - as well as for creating some electrical documentation that reflects what is actually installed in the a/c.



I can't be the first person to do this . . .

Clive - I’m not quite sure what you mean by a wiring schedule, and I’ve never heard of the tools you mention, but I wonder if either of the documents you can find at:

would be helpful to you. These are PDF documents, but I imagine you would want to edit them for your own use, so would need the source files from which they were produced.



I made the wiring diagrams in the CAD application CADintosh (Mac-only); they can be exported as .DXF which should be readable by most drawing applications. (NB DXF does not support all entities that can be created in CADintosh so there could be some differences in appearance.) CADintosh can also export IGES and HPGL but I suspect those formats are less likely to be of use in your context.



I made the list of wires in FileMaker Pro (runs on Mac & Windows); if you don’t have FMP, I can make an export from it in tab-text, CSV, DBF, merge, HTML table, XML (specify your .XSL stylesheet) or .xlsx spreadsheet format.



Hope this goes some way to answering your question, but please get back to me if you need more info.

By schedule i mean the kind of wiring diagram one would find in your Haynes Manual for your car - a graphic depicting the wiring layout rather than lists (though they are fine of course).

What about the one in the build manual. That covers all the basics and gas a similar layout to the car type your speaking off.

The reason for my ask is that the schematic in the manual is generic, only in paper format and not specific to my aircraft.  When it is finished i want to have a set of documents that give the precise detail of how it is wired up.

Clive, and all those who responded - thanks for your time and trouble, and I’m sorry I gave you such bother! It’s working fine today, but when I tried that page myself yesterday it took forever to download. Several other pages of the website were extremely slow to respond, and I couldn’t even get ftp access to it at one point. It appears that it was a temporary problem at my hosting company (although another site they host was not affected).



It seems it was just bad luck that the site had a problem at the very time when I pointed Clive to it. I do apologise for all the fuss!
