I am considering the above MOD, but finding it difficult to visualise the finished effect. Does anyone have photos from the interior of their cockpit, and do those that have done it consider it worth the effort ? I have just completed the door strut re-positioning, so if I am going to do it, now would be the ideal time, before repainting the door interior.
TIA

Bod, I'm 6'(at)' and 250 lbs. It was the best Mod I put on my bird along with the high top.

With the forms supplied with the kit it was fairly easy MOD.

Thanks to AirEupora and Specialeffects for the offer of pictures, I have e-mailed you both with a request, off list.

It is a shame that posting pictures to the forum is not working at present, lets hope the Administrators sort out this problem in the near future.

In the meantime, to overcome this problem, when I have wanted to post pictures, I have put the pictures in a file in Dropbox, and posted the link here.

Hope this tip helps others.

Rick & Frank have kindly sent me pictures of their work in progress of the Cockpit Width Increase. Does any one have photos of the finished article ?

Maybe I am missing something here, but doesn't this MOD leave the push rod for the rear latch exposed ?

No Bob,

The original round section bar was replaced with a much thinner section
flat bar, allowing it to work in the reduced space within the door frame.
