I have a Housai engine, 285 HP for sale sitting on a stand in my hangar.
I have taken it off my CJ because of a crack on the back plate of the power section. I have a replacement back plate that can be installed by an overhaul shop for about $2500 in labor cost. This engine will be good for another 1000 hours if you take good care of it like I did.
The engine has now about 650 hours on it and was running excellently with good cylinders compression and oil/fuel pressures.
If anyone is interested, I'll be able to crate it securely on the vertical stand it's on and ship it.
I'm asking for it only $5,300 + whatever the shipping cost.
It certainly worth it even just for spare parts !

Be very careful if your searching for a engine in China, there seems to be
a gent there who is running a scam. He uses many names one of which is
Spencer.
My last legit quotation (my cost) out of China was about $25K FOB there.
I have no stock at this time.
