Hello,

during the last flight on YAK52, the RPM indicator (front and rear seats) went to 0, Oil pressure and Temp were ok. Once on the ground the indicator went back to normal ops. I suspect a connection problem.

My question is: where the RPM indicator take the input from? what is the location on the engine?

Thank you for your time !!

Raf

One of the three wires to your TAC driver has bid rated loose in the sim pin attachment to the TAC drive on the left side of your accessory case. At least that is where it is on the M14P.

That most likely will not be the case with the Yak 52. The 52's tach
generator Cannon plug is notorious for one of the 3 wires in the neck of
the cannon plug breaking at the solder joint of the pin.

Dennis is correct. Have had this several times on my Yak52. The wires are difficult to solder by the way!!!!
