Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Festivus for the rest of us.
I plan on painting my chipped, beat up, Yak 52 interior next week, what is a good paint to use? I used Imron on an earlier Yak cockpit with great results. Setting up and using the breathing equipment was the main drawback.

Sherwin Williams Polane. It is bulletproof. It is the stuff they used to paint computer cases with. Impossible to chip or scratch.

It's uses is not a question for cockpit interiors. Would you use it on the control surfaces? The reason I'm asking is I am about finished recovering my controls using the STITS protocol for Stits poly fiber. You can't use enamel paints over Poly TAC adhesive. So for the fabric Poly-Tone or Aero-Thane and Ranthane can be used. They do not have the fillers that make the automotive polyurethanes brittle especially on fabric. Still about three months from building the paint booth and squirting paint though on the 50.
