Did any of you happen to receive / see the new proposed camping fee / reser
vation email from EAA / Warbirds? Is it yet another attempt at gouging and
extortion or am I just bloated and over-sensitive this week...???

Searched through the various manuals and couldn't find anything on where and how
to set up the Neutral Elevator trim like on the CJ6. Anyone have anything on
this ?

Hello Yak-list'ers,

We are emailing you from Chaonck Richka's email account but regretfully we must announce that he passed away in early December. We are in the process of probate to get administrative control of his assets. We will be having a memorial at his hanger in the future but more details are to follow.
We am sending this email to see if their is any interest in purchasing a Yak18T project with air frame and various Yak18T/52 parts Inside of the United States.

Chanock has a fully operational Yak-52 that he built and flew on a regular basis. He built that plane from parts of a Yak18T air frame and some additional Yak parts that he had shipped in from Israel with the original Yak52. At least so far as we can tell from the documentation that we have found that had any reference to the Yak18T. We have not found any Logbooks, airworthiness Certificates, or Registrations for the Yak18T.

With that being said, we will have a Yak18T air frame with Landing gears, wings and aileron's (stripped of Fabric), and Two broken M14P engines and some various Yak18/52 parts that we are going to be looking to sell once we have completed probate court. We have not set any price on the Yak18T parts yet. We are in the process of rounding up all the parts that are around the hanger, so that we can provide some better pictures of the whole project. Hopefully in the real near future. We are hoping to sell it as a project plane but realize we might just have to sell it as individual parts.
We have a potential buyer in another country but after speaking with an Aviation attorney he stated that we might have a difficult time shipping out of the US because of the designation as a military aircraft. It's said that a small number of Yak18T's entered service with the Soviet Air Force as liaison and communications aircraft. But this Military designation may prove to problematic to ship out of the US because of the Bureaucratic Red Tape.
Please reply to this email account crichka(at)gmail.com (crichka(at)gmail.com) if you would like to be added to the list of potential buyers of Yak Parts. Otherwise we will post the pictures as soon as we get them and see if their is any interest in a Yak18T project inside the United States. If you have any recommendations for a company that might be interested in all of the parts as a whole "Bundle of Joy" Wink, as we are not in the aviation field, please let us know so that we can contact them directly once we have the paper work cleared. We are going on the recommendations of the attorney's and of Chanock Richka's flying buddies.
The Yak52 is not for sale at this time, but we will email this list again if that were to change in the future. If we have not sold the Yak18T parts before this time we will probably add them to the sale of the Yak52 as an even "Bigger Bundle of Joy"

Thank you,
In Loving Memory of
