Ira - I think the model aircraft event (on Sunday 21 May) would have been for control-line (U-control in USA), not RC. Nev was a long-time competitor in team race events.
I will miss him - but I will have his cowl on the front of my Europa to remind me of a fine craftsman.

Very sad to hear about Nev. He was, without a doubt, strongly contributed to Europe Aircraft's success. Always helpful when you need help.
My condolences to Carol and the family.

Yes I agree with all comments.
Nev hosted me on my visit to Europa and encouraged me to take on the challenge. He also provided much needed encouragement and advice which he didnt have to do but did so because he was a nice guy.
I shall miss him.
