At KOSH '16 I spent some time talking to Ed Kollins at the Camguard booth.
During this chat Ed noted that Without going into the all the details, Ed noted that Maroine Camguard has a friction modifier that reduces piston friction. For Experimental Lycs this can be added to the oil. Based on his recommendation I have been using it since then.
When I first added it I recall seeing about an 6-8 degree drop in CHTs.
