Are ALL the power inputs subject to brownout reboot
syndrome? A nav and comm receivers are very quick
to come on line and 'heaters' certainly don't
need to be supported.

Judging by the installation manual, the heater is powered by the "Main" input, so it's probably not possible to segregate it. I don't know about the Nav and Comm inputs; I have no experience with the GNS480.
