Thanks for all the help on water pipe clips. In the process of removing the pipes I removed the air inlet manifolds. The o rings looked pretty flattened and I am wondering whether I should replace them or use some small amount of liquid gasket from a tube? I am aware you don't want a leak here and sucking in air.

Graeme,
Good practice is to replace any o-ring after removal, especially when they are used in high temperature conditions. It is a cheap insurance. Do not mess with sealing stuff which could be sucked into the engine!
